There are two rounds each cycle: the main AEIS (September–October) and S-AEIS for those who need a second chance (February–March). Start preparation early — the March–June window is when parents typically make the decision to enrol their child.

AEIS is the main annual exercise held in September–October. S-AEIS is the supplementary exercise held in February–March the following year for students who missed or failed the main AEIS.
